Coconut water, however, has 400 mg/l, compared to 600mg/l to the other two drinks. It has comparable amounts of magnesium and carbohydrates with other beverages.

 Low-sodium content in coconut water makes it very good for athletes who do intense physical effort and sweat a lot. Sweating makes people lose more sodium than potassium and only coconut water can replace sodium lost.
