Tongue Says About Your Health

The tongue is an incredibly important muscle that helps to chew and swallow food, taste it ( the tongue has an average of approximately 9 000 of taste papillae) and talking. But your tongue can do much more for you than you thought. For example, you can indicate a health problem or a buildup of toxins in the body.

When it is healthy, your language should have a pinkish color, to be quite moist and smooth.
However, if your tongue is dry, covered with mucus, washed-out or painful, it could indicate a problem, such as a low level of the thyroid, or hypothyroidism.
A common problem is a c with “cracks” (when your tongue swells, becoming too big for your mouth, leaving traces of the teeth on edge). This is a strong indicator that something is wrong, and often this is more serious than people think. In fact, hypothyroidism diagnosis might be the most overlooked today.
Tongue Swells
According to world famous specialist, Dr. David Brownstein, “it’s shocking, but an average of 50% of the men (especially those in the developed countries) have a deficiency of thyroid hormone, called hypothyroidism, and both they and their doctors do not know that because standard thyroid tests are far lacking accuracy “.
The thyroid is a small gland located in the neck. Along the year, it creates about a teaspoon from thyroid hormone. And just this tiny amount is needed to boost the metabolic rate of each of the trillions of cells in your body.
This hormone is vitally important for cellular development, cell division, and cell metabolism. It regulates the metabolism of fats, proteins, and carbohydrates. It creates the heat and energy of the body and all it affects how they are used for vitamins and minerals in your body.
Therefore, if left untreated, this deficiency of the thyroid may play a major role, which could lead to 59 separate diseases -some being just disturbing, others which can destroy your life, and the few that actually can kill you.
If you have any of the following symptoms, you might have a thyroid condition:
  • Fatigue
  • Fuzzy brain
  • A headache
  • Cold hands or feet
  • Constipation
  • Dry skin
  • Body aches
  • Increase in weight
  • Memory loss
  • Hair loss
  • High cholesterol
  • Heart palpitations
  • High blood pressure or low
  • Allergies
  • Arthritis
  • Cancer
  • Heart disease
  • Diabetes
A thyroid deficiency may be at the root of all these symptoms and serious illness, and usually passes undetected thus often untreated! But one of the signs of any disease can be found by the tongue which many ads often miss. Each body speaks its  “language”.
