Super Home Remedies For Morning Sickness

Morning sickness is normal and there is nothing to anxiety about. You can fight nausea and vomiting with some simple, natural cures.

Here are the super home remedies for morning sickness.

  • Cheese

At the time of pregnancy, eat lots of protein as it reliefs regulate blood glucose levels. A research has found that protein-rich foods will help decrease the signs of morning sickness, especially when you are craving for more carbohydrates.

It is a good option if you feel like you may vomit from consuming anything else. You can try cheddar cheese, cottage cheese or mozzarella cheese. You can make an easy cheese salad along with fresh fruits and vegetables and have it for dinner. Also, have some cheese or other high-protein food before going to bed.

  • Peppermint

The anesthetic property present in peppermint will calm the belly and thus help decrease nausea.

1-Prepare peppermint tea by putting 1 tablespoon of peppermint leaves in 1 cup of boiling water. Let it steep for 10 minutes and then clean it. If wanted, you can use some sugar or honey. Drink the tea slowly, drinking it over some time.

2- Alternatively, you can use a few drops of peppermint essential oil on a cloth and breathe in the smell. Even sucking on peppermint candies can be very useful.

  • Fennel

The aromatic and licorice-tasting fennel kernels can also be used to calm the belly and give fast relief from morning sickness. The anesthetic components present in fennel seeds help fight nausea.

1-Chew on 1 teaspoon of fennel seeds after meals to help in the digestion procedure.

2-You can also try fennel tea. Use 1 teaspoon of crushed fennel seeds to a cup of boiling water. Let it steep for a few minutes before draining. Use a few drops of fresh lemon juice and 1 teaspoon of honey before sipping it.


  • Curry Leaves

Juice extracted from curry leaves when mixed with lime juice and sugar can be used as an Ayurvedic medicine to cure nausea and vomiting due to morning sickness.

  1. -Press 15 to 20 curry leaves on a sieve to extract the fluid.
  2. -Use 2 teaspoons of fresh lemon juice and one teaspoon of honey or sugar and blend it well.
  3. -Drink this 2 or 3 times a day.
  • Keep Snacks near Your Bed

If you feel sick in the central of the night, the last thing you want to have to do is go downstairs to the kitchen to find something to consume. Keep a variety of foods (granola bars were a favorite for me) near your bed in case you get the midnight foods.

  • Avoid Fatty Foods

Fatty snacks take longer to digest and maybe a little rough on your gastric tract. You may also want to evade anything fried, overly seasoned, or acidic.

  • Ginger

It has been used to relieve nausea for centuries. Like lemons, this is a best, natural remedies.
